Eagles for real?

they will go 4-0...first 4 games are too easy....but then they will stumble....not worried until they beat someone playoff worthy
I'd be surprised if they beat the Gmen.

The Eagles are going to be a tough game for everyone.. They are still weak at the WR position but McNabb, if healthy, is a top 5 QB and can lead them to 8-9 wins. I'm not buying them as a frontrunner in the division yet though.

Look at who they were playing.

The Giants and Cowboys both played playoff caliber teams, while the Eagles played a team that will likely be competing for a top 5 pick.

I think the Eagles will be much improved this year, but beating a lowly Texans team doesn't impress me all that much.


Yeah, but they thrashed the Texans in the second half....that has to count for something.


Remember folks, last year we barely beat them and if you think they'll just roll over and die this year you are sadly mistaken. We should be OK at home but in Philly, I'm definitely concerned.

What we learned about the NFC East on Sunday:

NYG -- Not as good as the Colts. LA is not the second coming.
DAL -- Not as good as the Jags. Now they have to deal with a QB controversy.
PHI -- Better than HOU in the second half. BTW, if Stallworth is the answer, it is almost certainly a really stupid question.

None of these teams are GB bad, but the DAL and NYG preseason hype was wishful thinking.

i dunno the gmen just do not impress me at all...very overrated!!

Oh yeah, and one thing I forgot to add....

The NYG are gonna find out how big having 9 home games was for them last year -- especially since they've dropped the first.
