Is LJ a product of Al Saunders Genius?

Just a thought. The unstoppable LJ who many experts predicted would reach the 2000 yard mark finished today with 17 carries for 68 yards against a still mediocore Cinci Defense (without Odell Thurman). Now granted its only the first week of the season, but to be honest this has me even more excited about the possible impact Saunders will have on this offensive unit once they start using a well structured game plan (As most of you know Saunders is famous for not using the same play twice).

Anyway sorry for those of you who took LJ first in your fantasy drafts but do you think that LJ owes a lot more credit to Saunders than the media is caring to admit?

well they also lost both tackles and the fullback...anybody who said he was going to get 2000 yards is a moron (and yea i was saying this before the season, not because of this game)

Yeah don't forget the Chiefs also don't have Dick Vermeil anymore. That guy was a pretty smart offensive mind as well.

Plus wasn't Trent Green out for most of this game? So the whole offense was out of synch. I think LJ will have a very strong season, but this KC offense is not going to be the same explosive offens we've seen from them in years past.

its only one game, but... missing the lineman and the mastermind behind the offense has got to hurt

He is a media hype. Sorry folks, but he is not going to get 2000 yards.

Hell, he'll be lucky to reach 1500.

That offense just isn't the same. Too many losses of coaches and players, and they're getting old at key positions.

losing that many pro-bowl selections on the OL and their fullback hurts hard. that's why LT is the best pick this year ;)

too many losses, an injured QB and herm, who just isn't a great coach.

That's why I went with LT for my #1 pick.

I have been trying to tell everyone that LJ will not be productive as last year. He is a product of a scheme much like Denver had. Now the offensive mind is in DC(prayerfully shows it off tonight) so Kansas City will not look remotely close to the offense of the last few years. If you pick LJ for fantasy.....sorry.lol.
