Hey Guys I just found this NFL.com - Washington Redskins Team News (http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/WAS/9646959) It seems he might not even be ready for the Dallas Game I told you the Duckett trade happend because Poris injury was more serious than let to believe.

Duckett was definitely good insurance for us. Gibbs bases a strong offense on a strong running game, and even though I feel we're okay with Betts, having Duckett in there as well should hopefully get us through the season opener at least.

It's certainly "possible", but all reports (most importantly, CPs own statements), make this a bit of wishful thinking.

Nothing new here. We've known this for three days now. He'll be back against Dallas.

If it was up to me. I would bring Portis back till Week 5. You don't want to rush him back and have it linger all year. Furthermore, you want to be playing your best in November and December, not September.

but if you want to be playing for something in november and december then you better play good in september.

He essentially ruled himself out for the opener Sept. 11 against the Minnesota Vikings. He wore a helmet and his No. 26 jersey during the entire practice Sept. 8 for the first time since partially dislocating his left shoulder four weeks ago, but said he was focusing on the upcoming games against Dallas and Houston.
"The way things look, bro, you'll probably be seeing 2-6 against Dallas," Portis said. "But who knows? If not, I should be ready for Houston. They want me to be 100 percent."
Based on this is why I said he Might not be ready

And yeah I agree with Skins maybe not with the 5 weeks but with the 100% you don't want him to come to early and risk have a more serious or just linger the injury for a more extended period
