Let us all pause to remember those killed on our own soil on 9-11-2001.

No matter how you lean politically, take a moment, please.

I will never forget.

Life is not all about football. Life is love, family, friends, shared moments, sometimes tragedy, sometimes happiness. Life is getting up each day, thanking God both for another day, and all of life's blessings!

I will NEVER forget that day.

Rest in Peace to those lost and kill the bastards responsible for such a hellish act.

Did you hear that they are handing out American flags at the game on Monday. 90,000+ of them, and they're not those tiny ones; they looked like they're about 2'x1' on the news this morning.
That's going to be an amazing site on Monday.

yeah, they were talking about it on comcast. may our heroes from the trade centers and overseas rest in peace.

That's going to be AWESOME. It's a two-fold good thing. Number one for remembering those lost and number two it's going to give the 12th man an even bigger advantage.

RIP 9/11 heroes and may all 90K in FedEx rise up to the occassion for an opening season ass stomping. Get loud people!!!! Bring the heat, even you lassies in the club seats sipping the white wine!

I'll never forget that day. I work in the financial services industry, and needless to say we were at a standstill for a couple of days.

Definitely a defining moment for our generation.

I still remember the exact moment that I heard about the attack on the Twin Towers. It's kind of weird, I remember my parents telling me that they felt the same way, that they remembered exactly the moment when they heard Kennedy was shot. It's odd how certain experiences can shape a generation.

I send my condolences out to each and every one of the families who lost a loved one in the events that transpired that day. I think this experience allowed me to learn a lot and hopefully gave me some powerful lessons that I will carry with me for a very long time.

We should really have this thread rolling strong on Monday!

Thats great they will be handing out flags I remember when they handed out seat cushions. Everytime the Skins scored they went flying thousands of them.
