Which one do you watch? Fox, CBS, or ESPN?
I try to watch NFL countdown on ESPN because they give you all the info on all the games, not just the ones that they will be televising like FOX and CBS.
What do you like about the show you watch? What do you not like about the shows you dont watch?
ArtMonkDrillz 09-06-2006, 03:21 PM I tend to flip back and forth between FOX and ESPN, and I almost never watch CBS. I guess I watch those two and not CBS because I'm more interested in the NFC info than anything else.
I love the Mayne Event segs on ESPN; those are always really funny. Also, like you said Gigity, I like the fact that ESPN covers all the games, especially for fantasy purposes. So I guess ESPN would get my vote.
I hate when they talk about TO/Palmer's leg/The Fatass Tuna/The Sex Boat/etc for extended periods of time though. Also, like Bill Simmons said a few years back, it seems like there are times when you can flip through all three channels and on everyone the guys are just laughing like idiots for like 5 mintues straight. That gets annoying.
gibbsisgod 09-06-2006, 03:25 PM I totaly agree about them laughing like idiots for an eternity. Its almost like its an inside joke or something. CBS is the worst when it comes to that sort of thing.
12thMan 09-06-2006, 03:27 PM Although I tend to flip channels to catch snippets of everything, I think I would have to go with Fox. I like JB, Terry, and Howie, and Jimmie J. They have a really good crew in my opinion. I think they have really good chemistry, and I also think JB does a good job at commanding the show. He has the perfect demenor for that position.
ESPN, though informative I think Michael Irwin can be a loose cannon sometimes and has to be reeled in a tad bit.
CBS is good. I can take it or leave it.
firstdown 09-06-2006, 03:28 PM Fox, for the weather girl!
ArtMonkDrillz 09-06-2006, 03:29 PM JB isn't going to be on FOX anymore. They're going to have Joe Buck host and be their lead commentator, so the show will probably be on the road each week.
I can't remember if JB will be on CBS or NBC, but it's one of the two.

She's gone now

JB is on CBS
12thMan 09-06-2006, 03:32 PM Yeah, I forgot to mention that JB will be CBS. I was just going on in year's past.

CBS is good. I can take it or leave it.did you hear that JB(james brown) is no longer on the show? The host is now JB(JOE BUCK). he will be doing the hosting of the pregame show and the play-by-play for their featured games. i just read that on foxsports.com.I guess he will be doing like a teleconferencing thing.
