I went on the high-side too. Brunell basically got hurt on one hit to the knee last season, so if he can avoid that sort of thing he'll be set, IMO.
Paintrain's Regular Season Starts for Brunell PollArtMonkDrillz 09-05-2006, 10:03 AM I went on the high-side too. Brunell basically got hurt on one hit to the knee last season, so if he can avoid that sort of thing he'll be set, IMO. Not only that, it's not like it's bitch hits he's taking. That would set a lot of QBs back. skinsttw 09-05-2006, 10:44 AM Better protection up front. More options to throw to. Brunell goes the season and into the playoffs. MTK 09-05-2006, 11:05 AM Mark Brunell is here to stay. He will be the starting quarterback for the next two years at least, and probably the next three. The criticism of Brunell is partly due his lack of being forthcoming about the extent of his injuries and how they have limited him. Brunell is an excellent quarterback who I wouldn't want to trade for many in the league. As far as this year, you are lucky if your quarterback makes it all the way through without any injuries. But 11-16 games is safe bet for sure in my book. I will predict he will miss a couple of games in the regular season. I really doubt he's here beyond this year. Given the way his contract is structured and with Campbell waiting in the wings, I can't see him being the starter in 2007 much less 2-3 years from now. He's going to win the Bowl and retire on top. :) steveo395 09-05-2006, 12:08 PM he will start 19 games Paintrain 09-05-2006, 12:18 PM Damn, I must be good.. I posted a thread and poll without even knowing it! :) I think he'll start all 16.. Saunders QBs don't get hit too much and as long as it's not self inflicted (strained/pulled muscle) he should make it thru the year. Schneed10 09-05-2006, 12:22 PM He won't miss a start, IMO. backrow 09-05-2006, 01:05 PM 13 'Mark' it down! I say eight (8) games for number #8 . "Mark" it down. Great line by the way, Matty! GTripp0012 09-05-2006, 01:06 PM He won't miss a start, IMO.Yeah, you can't really predict injuries, so I'm going 16, and waiting for someone to prove me wrong. Monkeydad 09-05-2006, 05:44 PM 11-16 I'm thinking 16, plus the playoffs, Super Bowl and Pro Bowl. :) |
