I thought I read somewhere that the Skins did not sign him becase of some health concern raised during his physical..?

I think we need to resign ourselves to the fact that we'll have no D-line pressure this year and Lavar/Washington will be tied up rushing the passer most of the time. I think we can live with those two QB killing. The biggest concern needs to be our run defense since 2/3 of our linebackers willbe upfields. Our tackles better not be making arm tackles or Taylor and Bowen will end up with 200 tackles a pop.

Holmes ended the season on the IR, though im not sure what the exact injury was. He is aging, he has to be near 30, and im nto sure how much he has left in the tank. He was quite successful in his first stint with greg williams in tenessee, but ever since coming to the giants he has been somewhat of a dissapointment

I'm not sure that he would give us a whole lot that we don't already have - just seems like a very pedestrian signing if you ask me.

I'd rather give the reps to an undrafted FA or one of the 1st or 2nd year guys, who might have potential.

I think Holmes was a huge success in New York. He was the anchor or that dline and when he went out lsat year the line fell apart. He was usually the guy making the plays from what Ive seen and been told aobut him. I think hes getting old now but he definitly helped out the Giants while he was there.
