Chargers LB Foley Shot Several Times.

Why are they not building a team over there? There club is doomed. But thats what they get for having all those fine women and good weather.

The owner is a cheap bastard who wants to move the team to LA. Thats why san diego is 20+ million under the cap...

I thought I heard it reported as an 'off duty' police officer. That implies to me that he was in his own personal vehicle. HE should have called a regular patrol car, not Foley. At 3am there is no way I'd stop for some guy in a Honda waving a badge at me unless I had a gun myself. No way.

This is all speculation and "he said she said" bullshit but it seems to me there some judgment error on the part of both Foley and the police officer. The police will always protect their own so I'm not gonna believe everything that comes out of their mouths right away.

I'm sure internal affairs is already on the case...hopefully they'll have an official statement soon.

The important question is ... what caliber bullet was he shot by? If I'm in a position where I have to defend myself by shooting someone "several times", and they still survive, that'll be the gun that I avoid.

I'm guessing it was a 9mm.
