Wow Portis gets hurt once and he is fragile? Portis freaking ran for over 1000 yards last year, and those were all hard earned up the middle. Do not give me that shit that Portis is fragile, I mean maybe Shaun Alexander is, but not Portis, he runs up the middle for 1400+ yards, and that means he is weak? Yeah ok.

Are you more or less fragile with a shoulder injury than you were before?

The fact that a running back ran for over 1400 yards LAST year has nothing to do with how weak or strong he is THIS year after a sublexed shoulder injury.

Ahh the unerring optimism of fans before the regular season.

Vikings fans are guaranteeing an easy win, 49ers fans think Nolan is the second coming of Bill Walsh, Packers fans have faith in the final season of Brett Favre, Redskins fans know that the preseason means nothing...

More or less is different than saying fragile. Fragile is implying that Portis is weak and gets injuried frequently, or is prone to it. One shoulder injury does not really do that. Like I said before, one injury that is not serve, does not merit a fragile "title". So I guess using this as our basis for reasoning Carson Palmer is very, very, very, very fragile, because he torn his muscles? I doubt any sane person would say he is fragile in the way these people at gaypride are talking about. They are basically saying he is weak after a shoulder sublux, and that is bullshit.

Actually in this case it does. Portis played through a shitload of injury last year, and that is why I mentioned his yards were tough up the middle. That has plenty to do with showing he is not weak. Because usually when people make predictions or statements, they use the past to verify their claims. Portis's past shows he is a tough runner that plays hurt, and goes for hard earned yards. That is why I think he is not fragile, along with the fact the injury really isn't that bad compared to other injuries(ie. Palmer).

Not sure if i should put this in this thread but im curious, Ok the Steelers went 0-4 in preseason and yet they are still favorites to win the SuperBowl this year, NFL.com - Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp (http://nfl.com/teams/trainingcamp/PIT) , and the Redskins also finished 0-4 in preseason and with Coach Gibbs , who has been 0-4 in preseason and won the Superbowl, people say the Redskins are nothing will not even make the playoffs what kind of shit is this. The Steelers' preseason record means nothing where the Redskins' Preseason means that they have fallen out of contention. I just don't get it..

Not to be too annoying, but he ran for over 1,500 yards last season.
