man this is dumbest prediction ever
No way all the NFC East teams go 9-7 that's just DUMB
No way 3 teams from the NFC East go to the playoffs specially with a 9-7 record with Tampa, Arizona, Atlanta having really easy schedules. I only see 1 9-7 as a wild card and that's a long shot. ( I agree with the assessment that probably only 1 team from the division might make it, even though I believe 2 is a better scenario).
No way Miami beats Pitts and the Patriots in the playoffs and noway Denver beats NE.
And no way the ravens go to the playoffs and cincy doesn't not realI agree with a lot of what you are saying D'BOYS.
There is no reasonable way I see Denver beating out BOTH KC and SD this year. How sure am I? I've put Oakland ahead of them.
2 teams will come out of the NFC East. I'm tempted to say Cowboys and Skins, but if Washington doesn't come out of the gates fighting, I could see New York and Dallas making the playoffs and Washington left at home.
The Ravens MIGHT be the worst team in football. There are a lot of teams who are potentially worse, like the Titans, Raiders, Bills, Jets, and Packers, but to put a team that might be the worst team in the NFL in the playoffs is asinine. (On a lighter note, let the record show that GTripp is considering picking the Texans for a wild card)
I'm with Matty. Make a prediction. Why would anyone bother to read rankings that give no insight. It's the same thing we've seen all offseason. Everyones picking the Dolphins. For good reason. Pick the Falcons or the Cards or someone to go deep into the playoffs. Pick some bad teams like the Niners and Texans to improve to the .500 plateau (it happens every year, its really not hard to predict). Don't say the Raiders will be 4-12, that cliche. No team will be worse than 5-11 unless they get hit hard by injuries, so why pick the Texans and the Raiders to do so. Pick Baltimore or St. Louis, someone who was better than that last year.
That's how you make predictions that are worth reading without making a complete fool of yourself like Skip Bayless.
Dr. Z, you say you've been covering the NFL for more than 40 years. I've been alive for 18. How the hell do I know more than you? Dear lord.
