Tell me Jeff George is not coming back. This is as sad as GForeman trying to come back. What a trainwreck he brings. Collins to Titans?? Why are they sleeping on my boy Volek?? Why not try to sign Akili Smith while they are at it?

Even better...Ryan Leaf. Or Shuler. If that politics thing doesn't work out I am sure he'd be willing to come in sling it around for a while.

I'm rooting for Jeff George.
He's a true Redskin.
Bring him back to Gibbs. You know Gibbs scouting George...

does this tell you what a trainwreck the raiders qb situation is? all 3 of their quarterbacks put together do not have as much talent as j george does

i am still in shock that jeff george is back in the nfl......isnt he older than brunnell? but the more i think about it i think about the season he had with moss in minnesota...does george still have the arm? thats the question. and as far as kerry collins...he is probably a better qb than volek but the franchise player is waiting in the wings...vince young. this is temporary solution until he is ready.

Sometimes, you just can't make up good headlines.
I think Collins to Tennessee is the worst of the two signings IMO. George is pretty terrible though.

George's age doesn't shock me, the fact that someone else is giving him a chance does. We shouldn't have even given him a chance, he was washed up after his few decent years in Atlanta.
I was wondering why Collins didn't have a job. He's better than a lot of backups in the NFL. I've heard he COULD challenge for the #1 job in Tennessee.

Wow, he's played for a lot of teams:
Indy
Atlanta

Minnesota
Washington

Jeff George reminds me of a quote from Bull Durham,
"Kid, you got a million dollar arm and a ten cent head" - Crash Davis

G. Foreman came back in his 40's and made a pretty big splash in the boxing world. He won like 15 fights lost two title fights and then won the heavy weight title in around 1995 at the age of 45. It will be intresting to see if George will make the team and if he does could he ever see the field. The few teams he has been on late in the season he never had a chance but with some time to learn the system someone could get hurt and here comes George.
