I think Jason should be considered for the #2 QB position, but knowing JG psssion for "the over the hill gang" it may not happen. If Brunell continues to play scared he should be #1. It's obvious Brunell dosen't want to get hit and I've seen two prime examples so far in this pre-season. There's no way you can play that position if you're scared of getting hit. I've been an avid supporter of Brunell since he's been here but I have a feeling his time has about come. I was hoping we could get through another season with him but that likelehood seems bleak. skinsguy 08-27-2006, 07:04 PM I think JC gets #2 come week one. He has looked very poised in the pocket. At this point, I'd trust him over Todd Collins. ParkerGibbs 08-27-2006, 07:52 PM collins is perhaps one of the most inept, embarrasing excuses for an NFL quarterback that I have ever seen on the field. he very well may be a good "coach" for A.S.'s system; but as a player he is horrible. if not number 1, campbell is a CLEAR number 2 RobH4413 08-27-2006, 08:04 PM Campbell does look slow on reads. Is he poised? Yes. But He isn't anywhere near game speed yet. He has progressed, but he seems to be slow on looking at the defense, a staple of Al Saunders' offense. I'd say Campbell is a #2 because Todd Collins is worthless. I'd prefer Brunell to stay healthy. pg86 08-27-2006, 09:06 PM Campbell does look slow on reads. Is he poised? Yes. I would much rather have Campbell than Collins at second string. dmek25 08-27-2006, 09:20 PM how in the hell has collins stayed in this league this long? hell, i can carry a clipboard . and as of today, i have 0 interceptions pg86 08-27-2006, 09:23 PM how in the hell has collins stayed in this league this long? hell, i can carry a clipboard . and as of today, i have 0 interceptions Thats the funniest thing I have heard all day, I saw those numbers and I was all holy crap dude, If collins can get in the NFL So can I. Honestly I wish they posted my stats from last year, I have a better rating than him and I ride the bench at La Verne! skinsguy 08-27-2006, 09:45 PM Campbell does look slow on reads. Is he poised? I still think Brunell gives us the best chance at winning. bjschmonsees 08-27-2006, 10:44 PM Campbell should be #1. He is definitely #2. I don't care that Brunell has been fed to the lions by Saunders. Campbell has simply looked like the most cool and comfortable QB this pre-season. I want to see with the 1st team offense! |
