And of course Madden is an excellent gauge for how the team will perform in real life.

Of course!

Maybe we should turn away from the all white uni's and get some more burgundy in there?

You're crazy. White is what the boys feel good in and they will do just fine. Did you guys see the new commercial that they are going to air tomorrow night?? It's on Redskins.com. It ROCKS!!!!! Got me so PUMPED! ALL WHITE UNIFORMS!

Burgundy tops and white pants are the cursed jerseys. Never again. maybe it might work in the preseason but it doesn't work in theregular season.

What did we wear when we f...ed dallas on december 18th 2005? Thats right white on white. W on W for life.

W on W for life.

Gibbs must be a little fond of white tops and burgundy. I imagine. three times.

At the risk of being chastised for starting yet another uniform thread, I thought it was interesting that Cleveland, Kansas City, and Houston all wore white uniforms at home yesterday. Jacksonville did too, but they're known for that occasionally. As is Miami and San Diego, all hot weather cities.

While I loved seeing the burgundy jerseys at home in the Schottenheimer era, it does seem that the Skins do better in whites. Also, do you think Gibbs has sworn off the burgundy pants forever?

All about the Gibbs
The Washington Redskins' colors are burgundy and gold. They are one of the three NFL teams that primarily wear their white jerseys at home (the others being the Dallas Cowboys, and the Miami Dolphins). The tradition of wearing white jerseys at home was started by Joe Gibbs when he took over as coach in 1981. Gibbs was an assistant for the San Diego Chargers in 1979 and 1980, and the Chargers wore white at home during the tenure of coach Don Coryell in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
