I know you all love ES posts (sarcasm), but this is a good one and it made me feel better. Heck, after last night I think we all need a little hope... GO SKINS!

Saw this... sure, but the team did score SOME points in KC. We can try to spin this in a positive light as best we can (what else is there to do?), but no doubt the signs are not good, and Gibbs, Saunders, Williams, et al. know it best of all.

Let's hope this is a sign of something. But I'm dubious.

yeah it's one thing to lose, and another to have the offense show absolutely no sign of life after three weeks.

The chiefs at least scored in those games they lost.

Loosing by 41 points also also falls on the defense too...

1-7 in last 2 preseasons, woopee frickin doo!!!!!
Did anyone, ANYONE know this fact without looking it up? NO? Why? BECAUSE IT DIDN'T MEAN DIDDLY!!!!!!

Al Saunders's O's kicked ass in regular season - all that counts, thats the info most people have heard, why? because thats when it counts!!!

Guys, calm down, the world is not about to come to an end due to a blowout preseason loss, heck it didn't come to an end after a blowout regular season loss to the Giants - theres surely something more urgent to worry about for the next 2 weeks (laundry, mowing the lawn, etc - cus I sure as heck know I wont be losing sleep over a preseason loss!).

true, but if the defense is stoping them and offense isn't doing anything it kind of un-motivates the defense

Not sure I agree with that. When our offense started slipping last year toward the end, it just motivated our defense even more to go out and win games for us.
