Daseal's Positive Thinking PollSmootSmack 08-23-2006, 02:07 PM Vote!...or Rexi and Huddle will come to your house, tie you to a chair and make you watch them dance the Lambada....the forbidden dance! jbcjr14 08-23-2006, 02:10 PM First vote...haha! I voted for JC is the real deal. The guy just has great poise in the pocket and will keep getting better and better and he gets more playing time. 12thMan 08-23-2006, 02:12 PM Although I'm excited about the developement of Campbell, I maintain the best move was a non-move. Joe is back! Schneed10 08-23-2006, 02:20 PM It's all about the defense for me. ST's planting of Mike Anderson, Marcus Washington's spin-move sack on Anthony Wright, Griffin and Salave'a disrupting Rudi Johnson with penetration and holding him to MINUS 8 YARDS ON 3 CARRIES. Kenny Wright's improved play against the Jets, Phillip Daniels getting pressure on Anthony Wright before dealing with back spasms, Archuleta's sack on Ramsey. I love it. The offense may struggle with growing pains under a new system, but no matter what, this defense is going to be sick. Sean Taylor looks ready to make a big leap. Defense still wins championships, and we'll ride it all the way home. Ask me this, "Hey Schneed, what's cooler, an 80-yard TD from Brunell to Moss, or a Sean Taylor hit on a receiver jarring the ball loose for a fumble recovery?" The hit and fumble any day of the week. Defense baby, defense. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 08-23-2006, 02:36 PM My positive thinking isn't so positive as much as it is an attempt to numb the negative thinking. We're 0-2 and getting smoked on both sides of the ball, but it's just the preseason. I think Spurrier's 2002 team looked hot in the preseason and we saw what happened there. MTK 08-23-2006, 03:06 PM Coming into the preseason I think our main concern was about Campbell. Right now I'm pretty happy about him. He's still green but he's shown alot of promise. TheMalcolmConnection 08-23-2006, 03:07 PM I'm really torn on defense and Campbell, but I picked Campbell. Our defense is going to be dominant yet again, but I was truly concerned about Campbell. Like last week, I'd love to see him get some more snaps with the first teamers, but he definitely impressed me. BDBohnzie 08-23-2006, 03:08 PM it's nice to know the QB that Gibbs wants to hand the reigns off to is capable of moving forward. kid's got helluva arm. RedskinRat 08-23-2006, 03:10 PM I'm really torn ..... Stay away from the bath house. TheMalcolmConnection 08-23-2006, 03:13 PM Ahh! Come on man, you're really reaching with that one... Reaching AROUND that is! HA HAAAAAAA! |
