And this is the season we earn it. Schneed10 08-22-2006, 01:33 PM In the author's defense, this division really could finish in any combination of 1st through 4th. I can't tell who the best teams are, they're all excellent. When it comes down to it, I'd give the nod to the teams with the better coaching staffs. I'd say: Washington 10-6 (this is faith in the team to turn around this rough preseason) Philadelphia 10-6 (back with a vengeance, McNabb, Westbrook, T Thomas all healthy on offense) Dallas 9-7 (Sean Payton will be missed, and the offensive line isn't there yet) New York 8-8 (schedule is tougher than last year, will lose to Seattle, Chicago, Jacksonville, Indy, Carolina, and go 3-3 against the NFC East) superskins 08-22-2006, 01:41 PM We get respect when we earn it, same as anyone else. . yea right! right off the bat they say just because of TO that dallas is a sure bet for the superbowl!. last night like 35mins of sportscenter was basiclly all about dallas and how wonderful it gong to be this season because they beat the saints in the preseason. might i remind the cowboys fans and everyone else, that they played the SAINTS! not exactly a playoff contender! Dallas gets the most unearned respect of anyone in the league. Hail2theskins 08-22-2006, 01:46 PM that they played the SAINTS! not exactly a playoff contender! Dallas gets the most unearned respect of anyone in the league. Im as hopeful as the rest, but to keep you in check, the Jets were one of the worst teams in the league last year... they're not exactly a playoff contender themselves DaveyFoSho 08-22-2006, 01:48 PM ID say its pretty much time to just sit back and relax and let the games begin...we can run around in circles all day...on paper we are all excellent in the NFC east....the "experts" simply just rarely show us any kind of love. Who cares what they think because when we are sitting pretty at 13-3 i expect apologies for their cowboy praises!!!! Monkeydad 08-22-2006, 02:00 PM I like taking people by surprise after we destroy them 35-7 and eliminate them from the playoffs. :) EEich 08-22-2006, 02:03 PM We don't want respect. We want to be treated like the hogs that we are. Longtimefan 08-22-2006, 02:20 PM In the author's defense, this division really could finish in any combination of 1st through 4th. To be fair, they probably would have rolled the Saints even if the game were played in N.O. |
