Totally agree with that. I think there's a possibility that someone else picks up Espy, especially after the way he played last week.
Thrash, Espy or FarrisSkin Patrol 08-20-2006, 10:28 PM Totally agree with that. I think there's a possibility that someone else picks up Espy, especially after the way he played last week. Redskins8588 08-21-2006, 12:11 AM I voted Thrash because of what he brings to ST play. I would have voted Espy but he needs to up the level of ST play. Also Thrash is the proven vet out of these three... I hope that we put Espy on the PS for next year, I think that he has tremendous talent, just needs time. Rememeber WR is a very tough position to learn in the NFL... jamf 08-21-2006, 02:50 AM I realize I'm in the minority here, but I really think Patten is on his way out. I agree with you. I think espy will be on the practice squad and farris will make the roster. PSUskinsfan11 08-21-2006, 04:03 AM I say cut Patton keep thrash and Espy. mike340 08-21-2006, 06:30 AM Thrash stays. If nothing else, the effort after the catch last night. He frequently has been the open receiver when the QB is under pressure (i.e. he knows when and how to come back) and gets the first-down yardage. Never makes mistakes. Patten: I don't know what's happening. Maybe making sure he doesn't get injured in the preseason? 6 vs. 5 WRs on the roster. Gibbs usually goes with 5, but look what happened last year. He might try 6 instead. (And what does Saunders do?) dmek25 08-21-2006, 07:53 AM i was ready to hand over the reigns to espy but after saturday, he will be flipping burgers along side schneed this season:) Redskins8588 08-21-2006, 08:34 AM oh yeah thats right, undrafted rookies cant have a bad outting, I mean after all Jimmy Farris did so well last season when he was called upon to play games that count... Monkeydad 08-21-2006, 09:52 AM Thrash EXoffender 08-21-2006, 01:45 PM Espy. Patten gets the ax. He didn't make an effort to catch one pass by Campbell and dropped another (yes, Espy dropped two also). You'd think a veteran WR would want to boost the confidence of a young QB and make plays. However, Espy would benefit from being on the PS. LBrown43 08-21-2006, 02:31 PM Espy looks promising and would say practice squad for him for sure. |
