Why you bashing the Rock. The Rock says he is a valuable special teamer for this club and good enough to fill as the number 2 back for this team. The Rock wants to take you back to last season and remind you of St. Louis and a 13 yarder against San Diego. If you smell what the Rock is Cookin!!!!! its all good we all have opinions....lol
Just taking my time to launch my personal vendetta against as you say the Rock. Yes Rams game 100yds. But Rams defense . Special teams yes thats his bright spot.
Rock is a number 2 but not in football. Number 2's need toliets to flush in.
When he came around to sign at camp I told him I was cool, and he moved on.

B/C I want to see production. In the Rams game Rock got off on them but honestly when Portis isnt carrying the ball we dont run worth --ish. I'll open this up to everyone Rock his only contribution is special teams. I want what the Steelers had in Bettis(a Bruiser like Betts hopefully) Parker (speed like Portis though are guy is better) Duce, Haynes.
I want production from our guys so when we can put them all out there we keep the wheels in motion. Im sick of seeing drives end, and obvious non-finger pointing that we didnt have our superstar out there enough is bullshit.
I dont think Rock brings anything to table but a little speed and his tackling on special teams. I say give him the backseat to Lumsden as far as offense roles. Lumsden is unproven but I think he can gain yards and be more effective than Rock.
I want a flipping Win last night is where this hatred comes from.
Fauria is a pretty solid blocker, I wouldn't worry.

Lumsden could be better than the rock. i wanna see him play more though. he could be that diamond in the rough. it'd be nice since betts won't be a skin this time next year.

Janky-
Why would the coaching staff only give him one carry against their scrubs at the end of the game?
It didn't even seem like they were interested in evaluating him as a player. I don't think he's making the squad.

he's been nursing an injury but there has been alot of talk about him in camp. You however do make a good point. I stand down.

No need to stand down, two days ago I thought Lumsden would make the squad. I was shocked the coaching staff wouldn't let him play and I have to assume they've got a good reason for it.
You're totally right about the injury which I had (semi) forgot. There's an off chance he wasn't fit to play. Perhaps the 3rd game will bring better news for Lumsden.

Robert Johnson is 6'8. If he can't block, then we are in even bigger trouble since we let Robert Royal go.
Robert Royal signed a 10 million dollar deal. Quite possibly the most overpaid player in the league.

I dont see us being able to with restrictions of cap. Seems like Lamont Jordan all over , better use of him if he stays but bigger money calling and thus his production goes down hill and becomes a laughing stock.
Something must be going that isnt told about why Lumsden just isnt getting looks anymore. Its a shame.
