Personally, I don't want to see Collins under center ever again. With JG telling Jason Campbell what he did at the end of last season, I was under the impression we were going to see Jason, and more Jason when this pre-season started. All Jason needs is some more work to get comfortable, and that will enhance his confidence. Hopefully, he is our future, Collins has no future here at all, so why take opportunities away from the player we should be grooming for the future? Jason should get all the snaps behind Brunell, and if for any reason Brunell goes down during the season, the team should go to Campbell.

I don't think he's been promoted, he's just taking his turn in the rotation.
What would some of us do without you Matty'?

I completely agree. The "he knows the offense" argument only works if he also knows how to walk and chew bubble gum without tossing passes to D linemen (which he does not). Why not just have Al Saunders play QB if that's all it takes. Campbell is my man for the money. What pretty passes.

If he can't beat Collins out for the number two spot then I'll say 'WASTED PICK'.

I think if Campbell marginally improves on this week's performance he'll be number two by 9/11
Keep in mind that how Collins performs during the final 3 preseason games is a major factor in this equation as well.
Given that Skins fans are only really happy when there is some kind of QB controversy....
JC did demonstrate in Cincy that he has the potential to be McNabb with a stronger arm and a better head. He clearly has the best arm of the three QBs. If he continues to show some real growth during these next three games, there could be some very interesting discussions on this board.

Ok, I'll be the one to start it here, who is our 4th QB? Casey Bramlet? Does he ever get to see any action? From his Bio he was pretty good out of Wyoming and played NFL Europe last year. Is he fodder or a player? Will we ever know? Collins was SOOOOOO bad that Bramet should get a shot in the 4th QR of one of these games.

Campell deserves number 2 especially given his performance of late.
He was cool under pressure on Sunday and he looked real sharp at the scrimmage. Brunell will need a couple of breathers this year, time to give the kid a shot. Collins hasn't played in 3 years. Nuff said.
