Shawn Springs to have surgerydmek25 08-15-2006, 01:59 PM bunch of bull if you ask me. why no link? because its made up, thats why hesscl34 08-15-2006, 02:07 PM I think if it was a sugery it would be up on the site by now. I think what may have happened is that they were discussing the injury in general and concluded that it was similiar to Hall's, which if he had sugery would take about 2-3 wks to heal. But that's a lot different from 'Shawn Springs is having sugery." OK - HERE IS THE DEAL straight from REDSKINS.COM Ashburn, VA - Washington Redskins DB Shawn Springs underwent a medical procedure today to repair a minor tear in an abdominal muscle that attaches to the pubic bone. The procedure was performed by Dr. William Meyers at the Durham Regional Hospital. hesscl34 08-15-2006, 02:10 PM According to Redskin Radio, Springs will be out a "few weeks" and will have SURGERY to repair a groin issue regarding muscle attachment to the bone. Ouch. Doesn't sound like a serious surgery at all. It was already done today which means he'll have plenty of time to recover!!!!! skins052bgr8 08-15-2006, 02:10 PM Well there it is in writing as well I heard it on the new Redskins radio here in Richmond Va. and Larry Michael reported surgery, but did not know how long he would be out. skins052bgr8 08-15-2006, 02:11 PM Well there it is in writing as well I heard it on the new Redskins radio here in Richmond Va. and Larry Michael reported surgery, but did not know how long he would be out. A buddy of mine skins052bgr8 08-15-2006, 02:11 PM Well there it is in writing as well I heard it on the new Redskins radio here in Richmond Va. and Larry Michael reported surgery, but did not know how long he would be out. A buddy of mine called and told me after he saw it flash across the screen on ESPN. Monkeydad 08-15-2006, 02:12 PM Brown, that's right. I knew one of NE's receivers did it but I couldn't remember which. I wonder if any of the Skin's WR could do that. Doubtful I bet Randel El could. :) 12thMan 08-15-2006, 02:13 PM So, skins052 did Springs have three surgeries or one? mooby 08-15-2006, 02:14 PM I'm glad it's only a minor procedure and that he'll be back by the start of the regular season. hesscl34 08-15-2006, 02:15 PM So, skins052 did Springs have three surgeries or one? LMAO - I'm relieved. Doesn't sound too bad. He was in and out and had the procedure done today. He'll be back by game 1. He's the MAN! :) |
