I just heard he injured his groin. Has this guy ever been healthy through preseason? He seems like he has alot of potential, but man, always hurt. Shouldn't we finally let this guy go?
Taylor Jacobs injured again?Hog's Breath 08-11-2006, 02:08 AM I just heard he injured his groin. Has this guy ever been healthy through preseason? SmootSmack 08-11-2006, 02:15 AM Yeah he strained his groin (insert Lance Bass/Taylor Jacobs joke here) and missed Thursday's practice. Not a big deal in most cases, but this is TJ we're talking about SmootSmack 08-11-2006, 02:16 AM By the way, welcome to the board Hog's Breath! Have an Altoid. mooby 08-11-2006, 02:53 AM Yeah, welcome to the boards Hog's Breath. Anyways, i used to have faith that T.J. would come together one day, but that day is apparantly never gonna come. Then again, i used to have faith that Rod Gardner would be a good #2 receiver as well, and look how that turned out. Either way, he's probably gonna get cut before the regular season. Redskins8588 08-11-2006, 03:07 AM TJ's problem is that he has a lack of heart... And everyone knows that is the biggest muscle in the NFL!! Redskins8588 08-11-2006, 03:12 AM Time to play devils advocate... More than once Daseal has claimed that TJ gets good seperation during games and that Brunell will not throw him the ball. And others chime in with that maybe Brunell does not have any confidence in TJ to catch the ball. Well if that is true, my question is this, will Brunell have confidence in Lloyd and ARE??? Just a thought... Master4Caster 08-11-2006, 03:23 AM Is he still here? :oink: SmootSmack 08-11-2006, 03:24 AM Lloyd and Randle El have proven themselves over multiple NFL regular seasons (and in El's case, all the way to the Super Bowl) so I don't think Brunell is going to lack confidence in them. On another note, a few years back there was a receiver on the Redskins (I can't remember who now, but I want to say Derrius Thompson) who I would see open a lot but he almost never got the ball. So I mentioned this to one of his teammates during an interview, "Hey, he seems to be open a lot why isn't he getting more passes thrown his way." And the answer was "He might be open, but he never runs the right route." I thought what does it matter if he's open, but I guess apparently it does. Now I'm not saying this is the case with TJ, but I wonder if it's possible. mooby 08-11-2006, 04:31 AM How come it has to be an issue as to whether or not he's running the right route? I say if I'm the quarterback and i see an open receiver, i don't care whether or not he's doing the right route, i get him the ball. jamf 08-11-2006, 04:54 AM TJ's problem is that he has a lack of heart... And everyone knows that is the biggest muscle in the NFL!! Actually, i hear thats sean taylors penis. |
