But I don't think anyone in the history of American sports has ever fallen from grace as quickly as Maurice Clarett. I do feel bad for the kid. Someone needs to save him from himself. He had the world at his feet and he flat out blew it. I feel bad for him for the same reason as Strawberry and Gooden...there is something seriously wrong with them. I don't what the hell it is, but I think Clarrett is more than stupid. He needs some help, but if he wants to act like a gang banger, it'll catch up to him. You can bet on that. He deserves whatever happens to him. I mean, Maurice Clarrett is a cautionary tale. The excuse that he gave for the bullet proof vest (which I think may be illegal in most states) and the guns is that Clarett has been receiving death treats for some reason. I don't know, sucks that his life is so f'ed up, no excuses though.
