what? i cant bring my kids to an nfl game because some lame ass wants to act like an a**hole? being loud and cheering( or booing) is acceptable behavior. in all the years of traveling to the vet to see the skins my motto was, say anything you want to about me or anyone in my family, just keep the vulgarities to a minimum, and never make it physical. i dont want to be known as philly south. we know how to win with class, unlike those morons in green and white

Just to clarify, my comments about us being LincField South was because I don't want ANYONE being polite, just civil to other team's fans. I was referring to this because an insane number of opposing team's fans would show up because we WERE too polite or NOT loud enough. If you know you're going to catch a razzing going into another stadium, that's a good thing. If you know you're going to catch a BEATING, that's a totally different thing.

So, if I guy is front of you cheering and cursing....what, you'll tell him he's out of line?

I think you have a right to tell him he's out of line. I do think there's a reasonable expectation to not be downright idiotic when you go to a football game. It's a really grey area between acceptable and obnoxious at a football game. I think as long as you aren't screaming obscenities then you're good. If a child happens to hear you say an obscenity when you're talking to someone near you at a normal volume, I think that's one of the risks of going to the game.

That's pretty much where I'm (excuse my grammar) at. If obscenities (slip) then so be it. If you're purposely being rude and vulgar then that's another thing. If a child is in ear shot of an off color comment, I really think that's one of the risks of being at a game. I make no apologies.

i agree but there is a very fine between being a good fan and a royal a** hole. screaming obscenities at the top of your lungs is not being a good fan, its being a great a**hole. some vulgarities will slip out during any conversation and thats to be expected. but being drunk out of your mind and using only bad language should not be tolerated

Dmek, I think I've been guilty of being an asshole....mostly at bars though.

everyone is guilty of that at one time or another. it just burns me up that eagle fans think because they buy a ticket, anything goes. i dont want fed ex to be that kind of place. and yea for malcolm. i get overly friendly when im drunk also

Some people get angry. I get happy. I DO get angry on tequila, but I don't drink any type of tequila at tailgates, so this year's tailgate is safe from angry Malcolm.

Same here, I get happy when I'm drunk...if I'm watching the Skins, I have the potential to be an asshole, but I've never been out of the way or anything. I hope to sling some brews with BrudLee this weekend.....Brud are you there???
