ESPN.com - NFL - Vikings lose S Williams for season with fractured knee (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2541433)

Not good news for the Vikings. Good for us as Williams was a starter that can bring the heat.

I'm glad the Redskins didn't listen to me when I was saying in March "I'd really love to get Tank Williams here"

I feel liek D. Smith would have started over him anyways...they had 3 really good safeties

I had forgotten they signed Smith. Good move there

Let the Karma Gods take notice that I show no pleasure in the injuries to Redskins opponents.

Remember though we will probably be without Sean Taylor for that game as well. The NFL has yet to levy a suspension for his no contest plea and that is likely to come down this week. Don't shoot the messenger, just be prepared when it happens.

I read an article from a reliable source saying he might not get anything.

Which would make sense to me considering that people have done worse and gotten less...

I concur, I would actually be suprised if he got suspended at all.
