I was just watching the 2005 season review by NFL films, and I was flabbergasted by a greivous error...

Near the end of the program, after The Redskins beat the Bucs in the playoffs, the announcer says, "The Redskins win six in a row, and their first in the playoffs since 1992."

I'm assuming I didn't hallucinate, but I distinctly remember being in the endzone after the 1999 season watching the Skins destroy the Lions 27-14 in the playoffs. Then we should have defeated the Bucs on B Mitch's TD return...

Kind of destroys your faith in NFL films...

On a secondary note, Brandon Lloyd's catch near the end of the show was SICK!!!!

Yeah I picked up on that too. You're probably right TAFKAS, they probably meant Gibbs' first one since '92.

Maybe NFL Films, like many of us, want to just believe those 12 years without Gibbs never existed

i caught that too. Kinda sucks, since they're supposed to be the supreme authority on such things.

Wasn't it Larry Michale who made the mistake? I'm not entirely sure but I'm pretty positive there was an instance where they used a radio bite where Michale says something in accurate.
