OK, maybe I'm making too much out of this.
On tonight's (8/2) Total Access, following a Harry Carson retrospective, Woodson was asked what other player has waited too long for induction. His response?
Art Monk (http://www.thewarpath.net/Monk.htm), that's who.
He went on to go over Monk's stats, making the specific point that the yardage number of Monk impresses him the most (take that, eight yard hitch).
But what does Woodson know? After all, he only played in the same era as Monk.

peter king has only one vote. im not understanding what the other writers(voters) see that keeps monk from enshrinement. just a quick glance at stats alone puts monk in canton

Rod Woodson gets on my damn nerves... he doesn't have enough personality to be on TV. Link was funny on there (mainly because his chair was 5x the size of everyone elses and it looked funny) but I'm glad RW had something nice to say about Mr. Monk...

And reguardless of Peter King or not I'm making plans now to be in Canton next season to see Art Monk inducted. Cause I think it'll happen. It's a travesty, a sham and BULLMALARKY!!!
