Interesting read. Actually, not much to it but hey, they like Gibbs!

One thing they forgot to include in their formula is the thing that matters most, the rings that Coach Gibbs has compared to Fox and Billick. And the fact that he did it with 3 different quarterbacks. Oh well at least we now the truth.

That coach ranking is bullshit. Gibbs has a higher regular season winning percentage and post season winning percentage (plus more SBs), and they rank him LOWER than Fox and Billick? What a f'ing crock of shit. Whoever came up with that formula for ranking the coaches must have been smoking crack.
I know it's about "big games" but who cares if a coach stinks up the regular season but does a little better in the post season? It's all about consistency.

Of the coaches coaching today, you have to say that other than Gibbs, Belichick is the real deal. Bilick on the other hand had one good Superbowl run in 2000 with the Ravens that "boosts" his playoff record. He won 4 playoff games that year from the Wildcard position to make his playoff record 5-2, otherwise he would be 1-2. John Fox has had a couple of good runs with the Panthers in 2003 from the Wildcard position and last year, but he has yet to win the BIG one. This year could be his year however.
I would take Gibbs and his planning and preperation over all of the guys when it matters, or Bilichick in the playoffs ONLY. Nobody has done it better in the Regular season AND the Playoffs like Gibbs however.

I suspect if a coach stinks up the regular season he wont have any post season to do a little better in.

I'd also add Gibbs' insanely good December record. His teams always finish the season strong.

I think we can all agree: the Lombardi trophy should be renamed to the Gibbs trophy. ;)
