I knew it!

All right, I had no idea.

To me - if he is healthy - this is a Ray Brown situation, but better. As good a player as Ray Brown was (and you don't play for 20 years if you are just "OK"), Lincoln Kennedy was superior. He averaged less than 1/2 a penalty per start, and only gave up 51 sacks in an eleven year career. He is also keenly observant, if his TV work is any measure, so he would be a fantastic mentor for our younger players. Add in the fact that good players who want to play a role are great morale builders, and you've got a winning combo.

That is interesting that he views us as a contender. That means more to me than some jackass like Salisbury who speaks out of both ends (the majority being from the rear one).

A true genius would never admit he had no idea

But a friggin' genius would lure you into his commentary by pretending to be among the hoi polloi.

I think that would be great if he is in shape. I mean really what do we have to lose? You can never have to many good OL men.

Three hundred eighty friggin' five pounds!!! He'll make Dockery look like Emmanuel Lewis. At 35 with 2 years rest, I'd be happy to sign someone like him. This is interesting.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in to eat up blocks like he's Sam Adams. Just get in the way and free up Griffin and Carter. The main concern with a guy that big, though, is gonna be his conditioning and whether or not his body can deal with him trying to throw that much weight around. I certainly wouldn't mind them picking up another DT.
