Where Will Alfonso Go?

Less than an hour to go before the non-waiver trading deadline. And, of course, the biggest name out there is Alfonso Soriano. Will he stay in DC or will he go?

If he goes I really hope it's to the Twins (formerly the Washington Senators). I like the Twins-I've incorrectly picked them to win the World Series the past three years. Plus now I live just a few minutes away from their AA affiliate-the New Britain Rock Cats. They've got a lot of great young talent, some of which the Nats could definitely use. And Soriano would instantly make them a strong favorite for the AL wild card.

Of course, I'm more a Nats fan than a Twins fan so I hope he stays. Actually, the dream scenario is he's traded for prospects then re-signs in the offseason.

I want the Tigers to get him if anyone is. It would be nice to see a crappy team have a chance this year.

They're MY Cleveland Browns. :(

That would be the best thing that could happen, but I don't know if he would even want to come back.

You like Cleveland, TMC?

Changed my mind, he stays.

It makes the most amount of sense for the team to trade him, but i'd like to see him stay and resign for a few more seasons. I was at the game a few months ago when he hit 3 HRs against the Braves. I was really hammered and I threw my hat onto the field after the third as I screamed "HAT TRICK, HAT TRICK!" I really liked that hat though...

Yeah, when it comes to seeing crappy teams do well, the Cleveland Browns are on my list. Too bad for them Bentley had to get hurt. One day, the Kansas City Royals will rock everyone's collective faces right off!

It could be worse. You could have thrown it after the second HR.

Maybe they should call back George Brett?

I'm leaving work now, so when I get home in a half hour I'm expecting him to be on the Marlins.

Latest word that I heard is that Florida, yes Florida, is a possible candidate. His salary will equal the rest of the teams (not really).

TAFKAS, until the Nationals came, I was a Texas Rangers fan (still am) due to their historical ties with the Washington Senators.
