Our D-line might not be horrible next year. Our problem is that we dotn have big play makers, but we have big play makers everywhere other than our dline. All of our dline are solid stoppers, Griffin is huge, Haley is becoing solid, Wynn always holds his own. Look for a dline that stops the run to allow blitz packages with LBs and Safeties that will pick up the sacks.

...mabye. He isnt a pass rusher eitehr though, hes just another big guy to fill a whole, and we have that. Our dline is solid, and can stop the run. What we cant do is pass rush. Gibbs already said unless they are a major pass rushing threat that they wont be considered as an option.

Williams used 2 big Non pass rushers in Buffalo, in Pat Williams and Sam Adams, and they had the #1 defense...What they do is tie up blockers allowing others to get the sacks. and last time i checked, our run defense wasnt that great, just look at what Hambrick did to us

I agree Big C, the big thing for the line is to stop the run and occupy blockers. I'm not sure that GIlbert Brown is worth it (depends on the price, obviously), but help in that department would be nice.

That's not to say I wouldn't welcome a pass rushing DE! But is there one out there for us that we can afford?

Our D line is still a question, however I don't think we can fix all our problems in one off season.

Actually part of our defensive nightmares the last couple of years, was our offensive ineptness. I wish there was a stat for the number of times a team goes 3 and out. I bet we led the league. With such ineptness, our defense was on the field entirely too long. With the Gibbs system, our defense will be on the field less time, which should keep them fresher.

Having said that, I believe that our Dline will do a fine job of stopping the run.

You are right we should not pick up Gilbert Brown he is about done.

We need to be careful of getting guys that are coming off injury. We do not need more guys that all they do is collect their check and are never healthy.
