If the NFL channel really wants 2 bucks a month per subscriber, than it makes total sense to not have it on expanded basic. Keep it on the sports tier (which for Adelphia Digital Cable costs about 3 dollars per month). That makes more sense than raising everyone's bill by two dollars.

I have Comcast in the Richmond Area (Chesterfield) and had a scare last night when I lost the NFL network, I called and they said the NFL had blocked it because they did not have it either on there programming. I woke this morning to find it had been reestablished. Before the weekend was out I would have been joining those DirectTV customers. This shit is nuts.

I have Cox cable, and I have the NFL network. You have to buy the sports tier for a few bucks a month.

i'll look into it, but last i checked, i'm paying them 90 a month (cable+internet) and i'm not sure i want to shove in for an entire digital sports tier for one channel... but i guess that's the choice.
