Thanks for the love, guys.
It was more than a little alarming to me last year during the playoff game at Seattle when one of the tackles went out for a few plays (I can't remember if it was Jansen or Samuels). The Skins already had Randy Thomas out with the broken leg, so old man Brown was in at guard. Then when the tackle went down, they decided to move Brown out to Tackle and put Raymer in at Guard. Seems to me if they had any confidence in Molinaro they would have just sent him in at tackle and let Ray Brown stay at guard where he was actually a little bit useful. Either they really didn't think much of Molinaro at that point, or they vastly overrated Cory Raymer's ability to play guard.
Either way, I hope Molinaro can be a good backup at T, because after that Seattle thing last year I'm not so sure.
I think Pucillo makes for a solid backup C/G though actually. And I'm hoping Lefotu turns into a little something, either that or Walter can hopefully hang in there alright. But I'm worried about the backup at T especially. And as for G and C, there are a lot of "hopefully's" in this post.

The way the game is being played these days, the thing that really seperates the winners from the losers is depth. I always hear people, sometimes myself included, complain about how much better their team would have been if this guy or that guy wouldn't have gotten hurt. But you know what, injuries are a reality in the NFL not an excuse. The best teams mangage to navigate choppy waters when a key guy goes down. I don't want to oversimplify, a team can't lose a Brady or a McNabb and still make a run. But it's becoming more and more rare that any one lasts the entire season - at any position.

At least Pucillo and Walters have some experience.

Then again, so does Torrin Tucker and we all see how HE worked out for the Cowboys.

As my grandmother once said to me over a football injury conversation during Thanksgiving dinner, "If your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle."

Position depth is at the top of my list of crap that I'm really worried about for this season. I feel like everything can go down the shitter at the drop of a hat if the team gets unlucky.
However, some of my fears are eased by the coaching staff. I'd like to think that they can get almost any player to perform well.

Yeah, I agree that there is no drama or setbacks at this point all seems pretty good. There are a couple of spots to watch how it plays out, that will be a good time.
I agree with TMC and also think Bugel is underly noted and his guys will be just as prepared by him then any other unit. Bugel is the coolest guy,the coaches offices are alligned like it was the Justice League HQ among legends and heroes. And I have a non Justice League photo.

Is there depth at OL ?
For the way our backups performed last year would it be crazy to say we are not much better or the same in talent but less in exp.this year to last? I think we evened out but with an upswing of being younger and having the opportunity to cultivate them .In 06-07 to come away this season with no drastic OL injuries could turn out as the perfect time that they spent investing in teaching these younger guys to be fundamental players.
I think Bugel is in his lab creating the love child of the Hogs/ Dirt Bags. I would be horrified to know what name it would be called.
With Shneed saying TJacobs is on the bubble- does anyone think he'll be kept or traded as to not stay in the division and head to the Eagles who desperately need speed and hahaha hands. Hey one mans trash vs treasure.
I feel we all have a gameplan heading into training camp. I'll be at the camp dissecting for further insight. Speaking of camp. When can we anticipate the Skins going Live full pads? Surely the first day would be shorts right? Took the Ravens like 3-4 days before full pads full contact or 3/4 speed.
