As camp draws near excitement is building. Here is an article that looks at likely roster spots filled by these rookies. It seems at safety and linebacker are the most realistic potential spots, while OL and DL rookies have their work cut out not only needing to compete but prove their skill in less than a week away to when they report to the greatest place on earth. I still think I will be camping out in the woods thanks to the savage hotel prices.

doughty and mcintosh make it, havner isn't a bad bet either. one of the DL will push out boschetti (probably montgomery, with golston hitting the PS). a no name CB could make the roster, but more likely the PS.

sounds about right.
Doughty will be a major contributor on ST. He is a super high motor guy on ST and that is basically what it takes to be good at it. If he can show some stuff there it makes it easier to cut guys like Thrash whose main contribution this year will most likely be ST if he is on the team.
McIntsoh is obvious and I think Havner has a job to lose. Whichever of the DL stuffs the run best will make the team. Others are PS fodder.

I'd also like to see some more of Kevin Simon. Prior to injury, he would have been a first round pick.

I was going to create this tread myself earlier, but the work thingy got in my way. I thought it an interesting list, considering TC hasn't started, and the first PS game hasn't been played!
On a sadder side note:
This writer made the ultimate determination that an NFL (2nd) career was not ever going to happen, when at age 54 1/2, a calf muscle popped, playing FB against his 4 yr old god-son.

everyone says that about every player. simon had a good year, but has an ego etc. he was absolutely the best LB available in round 6-7, but he deserved his spot. he ran 4.9 in the 40, and is small without a ton of production. when you get hurt that often, it starts to count against you. mcintosh had an injury history and managed to almost make the 1st round anyways.
