Off the top of my head I'd say: Brett Favre Peyton Manning Tom Brady (wavered a lot on Brady and Manning) Ray Lewis Marvin Harrison I know there must be more. Because I'd put Faulk in before Martin. I think for me the hardest part is determining how long a career the guy has to have be Hall eligible. Theres no way the guy shouldnt be in first ballot. McNair should be up there, althogh I dont know about first ballot There really arent a lot of guys you can point to and say absolutley. You can make a strong case for him, but then you'd have also have one for Torry Holt, Rod Smith, the recently retired Jimmy Smith, and how does Bruce get in before Andre Reed, and of course Art? gibbsisgod 07-21-2006, 11:07 PM tafkas, you have made me rethink my position on faulk as a first ballot HOF'er. i didnt realize that he has over 12,000 yrds rushing and 100 rushing tds, not to mention all of his receivingstats,curtis martin has over 14,000 yrds rushing but not nearly as many receiving yrds(only 10 less rushing tds). i can see them both as first ballot HOF'ers. gibbsisgod 07-21-2006, 11:09 PM Larry Alleni was trying to think of any o-lineman that were worthy and allen was the only one i could think of also. its kinda hard to put an o-lineman in first ballot though.
