Ya know, Im relatively broke right now. But if someone could find a way to get some coin to Chief Z for his medical bills, Id send him some money. Does anyone on here have any type of connection to the man, one that we could feel safe and comfortable that he was getting the money? I guess we could contact him through the VA, any suggestions would be appreciated.

You really feel bad for the guy who has given so much to the team and the fans. I never knew that Philly fans beat him up and broke his leg in '83. That is one of the worst things i've heard, though i'm really not all that surprised. Their fans have earned their reputation. As annoying as their "birdman" is, i'm suprised he still goes to away games.

Yeah, because of that, Philly is the only place he won't go to see the Skins play.

Well, I think we should find a way to get Chief Zee some money! On behalf of the Warpath Nation. I would bet that Tony McGee has an in to get a hold of him somehow???

I just sent an email to the Redskins to see if there was a way they could post some stuff to help out Chief Zee. Will let everyone know what I find out.

OK, here is what I got back from the Redskins:

You should call the reporter at the Washington Times who wrote the story, or George Michael at WRC, and ask them. They usually are the entity who sets up such collections.
Now I don't live in Washington so I wouldn't have a clue how to contact these people other than an email. I will do so, but does anyone have a contact at either of these places??

I can make a couple of phone calls but really won't have time to do so until tonight at the earliest.
