...Randel el is unproven as a #2 or #3...

Randel-El is a proven #3 WR.

Harrison isn't even the best WR on his team anymore.

Why do you think Harrison isn't the best WR on the Colts?

Because he buys into the stupid hype.

Because he buys into the stupid hype.

Wayne had more catches than Harrison last year.

Harrison is going into his 11th season out of Syracuse.

Wayne is going into his 5th season out of The U.

The Colts signed Wayne to a monster contract in the off season.

He will be their #1 Reciever this year.

Wayne had 83 receptions , Harrison had 82. Not exacty overwhelming evidence. Harrison had 12 TD's, though, which shows who Manning still likes to throw to when in scoring position. The Colts were basically forced to give that huge contract to secure him as the receiver of the future. This very well could be the transition year but I think next year is where well see the changing of the guard.

Why not?

TO is top four - even if you can't stand him you can't name four better WR in the L.

Glenn led the league in Yards per catch.

Witten is a Top 5 TE.

Can anyone else match that?

KC probably yeah might be better, Indy probably, might be better, Seattle? not with those drops and without Jurivicious.

Don't forget they have Bledsoe throwing to them...that CAN'T help. Owens is overrated...he's only good when he wants to be and that's not very often.

We are DEFINATELY better than this stupid ranking stated.

There's a comfort level there and a trust factor between Harrison and Manning. I think Manning will always look for Harrison when they need a big catch. They are the modern day Montana to Rice.

No matter what the numbers say, Harrison will be his top target until they no longer play together.

The Colts had to sign Wayne to a monster contract -- he was a free agent, and it's vital that every team have not one, but two capable wideouts who have developed chemistry with the quarterback that's been throwing to them for the past 5+ years. Having two dominant wideouts on the level of Harrison and Wayne makes it absolutely critical for the Colts to stay at the top of the league, and breaking up that tandem could be the difference in making it to the Championship game and just barely making the wild card.
