Big Ben was close to deathgibbsisgod 07-13-2006, 03:13 PM No big deal. Thurman Thomas forgot his helmet once, right?yeah, but he didnt go out and play without one. JWsleep 07-13-2006, 03:21 PM No big deal. Thurman Thomas forgot his helmet once, right? :laughing- (Is this the same as typing "lol"?) 724Skinsfan 07-13-2006, 03:21 PM yeah, but he didnt go out and play without one. Verdana? nope Comic Sans MS? nope Lucida Sans Unicode? nope Tahoma? nope Sarcastic script? YES! Riggo44 07-13-2006, 03:24 PM His nose is bent to the right like a boxers.:boxing: But other then that he looks fine.:httr: MightyJoeGibbs 07-13-2006, 04:26 PM Yeah...his "excuse" for not wearing a helmet was "I forgot to go in the basement to get it". I lost even more respect for the guy when I heard that! I just hate when those that are gifted and blessed wanna roll the dice and be oblivious to prolonging their career. I expect when you sign to a team and become their guy, that contract buys your life, privacy- gone your a celebrity, everything should be committed to football and the org., NFL money doesn't exist its not real, what is it 1% of AMericans are $millionares. Dont be a jackass, others would kill to be in his position to make that money let alone even to be able to continue playing the sport is a god given gift. They already have a crash test dummy, your a pro athlete, Millions of people are out of work, homeless, sick and dying its a slap in the face when someone is careless enough to disregard safety b/c unconsciously he knows he'll never be that guy. Is he still a hero to Pitt? I dont want to see any cheesy Bob costas or joe buck tributes before games how he overcame w/ slow motion images, of passing. You know its coming. Hopefully he will pull his team down this year. MightyJoeGibbs 07-13-2006, 04:28 PM Maybe if driving w/o a helmet is optional in PA,maybe Cool Ben will stick to his principles and plead for a clause so he can QB w/o a helmet at home games. DaveyFoSho 07-13-2006, 05:17 PM Wow...i really wish he died...thats horrible and all but he is quite unworthy of his talent and life....seconds from death...recovers...then and after he yells at the media for saying it was probably not the best idea to ride without a helmet....nice.... steveo395 07-13-2006, 05:38 PM Wow...i really wish he died...thats horrible and all but he is quite unworthy of his talent and life....seconds from death...recovers...then and after he yells at the media for saying it was probably not the best idea to ride without a helmet....nice.... he didnt yell at the media, and he knows he screwed up 724Skinsfan 07-13-2006, 05:50 PM Wow...i really wish he died...thats horrible and all but he is quite unworthy of his talent and life....seconds from death...recovers...then and after he yells at the media for saying it was probably not the best idea to ride without a helmet....nice....
