Honestly at times like these, it really does seem a British "common sense" judicial approach makes sense. This case would be thrown out immediately, and this guy would probably be fined for wasted court funds (ex. "hot coffee" case in England). No one wants to work for their money anymore. I think we should enact legislation that says if you bring a frivilous lawsuit into court that you must pay for the court costs AND a fine for wasting taxpayer money and the time of the person you're trying to steal from. The woman who didn't know coffee was hot before she drove with a styofoam cup between her legs shouldn't have won...she should've been reimbursing the court for wasting their time.
