someone around here summed it up best, eli manning = billy ripken. and thanks giantone for taking lavar off our hands. the soap opera continues in new york. if he couldnt handle greg williams, how the hell is he going to do with tom coughlin?

First off ,it's Tim Lewis .Thank you for Lavar,we're not paying him anything if he plays well he gets paid if he pulls up lame it does'nt hurt us .Eli(billy) to you all won the NFC east what did your guy a veteran do ?Oh and by the way the whole team stunk up the playoffs just not Eli.The soap opera is in Washington ,can they finally win in January instead of June and on paper like always ?Stay tuned to the same Bat channel!:spank: :smashfrea

Why do you say there's a soap opera in DC?

this is one mean schedule, we've got the nfc & afc south, not to mention our division may be the toughest in the nfl. The only really weak teams on our schedule are Minn. & Tenn. Both of them have major losses to their offense, and don't have dominant d's either. Other than that I can honestly see 75% of the others being decided by less than 7, the others by less than 14.
Don't sleep on Houston either. Carr may be due for a great year, they've made some changes & he's got Moulds to go w/Andre Johnson, whose definitely a beast. They may not be playoff bound but they'll beat some playoff teams. NO & St.L are 2 others that I think could surprise a lot of people.
In short, this schedule & the nfl in general is just wide open. It seems now every year there are 5-6 teams that are a handful of plays away from making the playoffs. I'd be thrilled w/12-4 as MightyJoeG predicts, but I'm not as confident.

There are a couple of positives that I particularly like about our schedule:

1) Playing against four new head coaches.
2) 4 out of the final 6 games at home.
3) A lot of these teams have QB questions. Peyton Manning, Delhomme, McNabb & Bledsoe are the only ones that I think are providing stability at that position. Some are up and coming like Eli and Simms but they're not there yet.
4) Our free agent pickups that we acquired are additions, not really replacements.

What does the red mean? Does that represent some sort of prediction?

If not, here's mine: 13-3 with losses @ Dallas, @ Phili, and @ TB on paper. The toughest home game will be Jacksonville, because they play so well on the road. Don't sleep on Houston either. Watch them maul Phili in week one. That should wake the rest of the league. I predict a win vs. them, but Houston probably had the best offseason of any team.

Indy has lost at home in the past (with a stronger team than they have now) to teams far worse then our Skins. They can be had. CAR and ATL are good teams but we should win at home. Vick is a weak cold weather QB. He doesn't stand and take the hit and deliver the ball like he does at home. That's a late Nov. game, and won't be much of a challenge. Everyother game is a potential trap, but overall should be wins.

I thought the red would point out the games I think will be true tests to how the skins have to overcome a hard schedule. Hasnt the skins have had a top 5 toughest schedule for the past 5 years???????????????

If that's the case then it's just an unfortunate coincidence. The way the schedule is determined is about as fair as it can be.

Now you may remember better than I do, but didn't the Skins win their first playoff game this past season? I feel like we beat Tampa, but maybe I'm wrong.

Also, didn't the g-string divas get DOMINATED in their own (not really their own since they have to share it) stadium? I mean a shut out at home in the playoffs? That's pretty upsetting. I guess I understand why you're so bitter all the time.
