We've had one winning season since '99. I don't think dynasty is the right word for us right now.lol. Of course. I was merely responding to the hypothetical situation above me.

This is a fun read. Of course, uniforms don't win games. The men in them do.

Game two will be in Dallas where the Cowboys wear their jersey whites at home. It would be fun to see the Skins break out in burgandy on burgandy just for the shock value.

I'd like to see it. They should wear Portis' red socks too, so he can wear them without being fined. :)

I think the red on red would look really cool. But only once, that could get annoying over time.

it doesn't look that bad, i'd like to see them wear it if the home team decides to wear white...it would probably look a lot better if it wasn't taylor jacobs wearing it

With Joe Gibbs as head coach, you'll never see the Redskins in anything but white jerseys at home. For some reason, he doesn't like wearing the burgundy jerseys at FedEx. I've read that his rule goes back to the early days of RFK stadium -- he once said that the shadows were so dark in certain areas of the field, that the burgundy jerseys were to hard to spot by his quarterbacks. He's stuck with it ever since. White jerseys are also preferred in hot, humid weather by just about every team.

The home team gets to decide which jersey will be worn. The visiting team must respond with the opposite jersey, but the pants can be anything.

So I get up this morning only to see this thread right above the 'Only three real things we should be worried about' thread. Natually I got confused.

Call me old fashioned...I prefer the uniform we won 3 super bowls wearing. Once we lose two straight games the white on white goes back to just being an ugly uniform.
