As I started reading this article I immediately started wondering if he would take off any weight to play with more speed this year, I got my answer:

Portis said he expects to arrive in training camp between 210 and 212 pounds, shedding the weight he gained to sustain last year's pounding. Now he's styling a more cut physique to suit the quickness Saunders' offense requires. And Portis points out that he's just now entering the four-year window that should be the peak of his career.

That's pretty much what I was thinking.

There are going to be a lot of new "Redskins experts" this year. Expectations are high, and every schmuck who has watched a few games has new and insightful commentary.

Thanks for the love. Charles Robinson is the YAHOO sports NFL columnist. Whenever there is a dull moment in his field he essentially has to get a few leads a create a theory/story for readers. He is to YAHOO what Len "pasta-belly" is to ESPN, but more tolerable and with less credibility. People tend to discredit what he says because he is still unknown to many, but he is gaining momentum as a columnist. Its just that he is on YAHOO, and they dont focus on football, so people dont relate him to a Peter King, Dr. Z, or Dan Pompei.

He makes some good and far-feteched points, but once he gave the skins props, then he was good in my book.
