i think our run defense was fine last year with the exception of giving up a few big plays. in this defense that is something that is going to be hard to fix unless the guys realize the importance of being in position

I wasn't used to people picking up big amounts all at once on the ground against this d. BrudLee 07-01-2006, 07:32 AM the way espn has it, the cowboys will be coming to fed-ex for wildcard weekend. Is anyone else sporting a little chub just thinking about that? Just me? Oh-kay..... BrudLee 07-01-2006, 07:33 AM On the Ultimate Depth chart they have us winning the division. Salisbury even complemented our coaching staff. They have us at #3 in the NFC (at least for the playoff spots) behind Carolina and Seattle, respectively. That's also third overall in the NFL. The Patriots are 4th and that puts them at the top in the AFC. The first Giants game where Tiki racked up 200+ yards didn't help. Then there was a long run we gave up in the 49er game. Big gainers here and there were the difference in '05. In '04, all the cracks were sealed tight, everyone seemed to be in precise position, and as a result, almost nobody got through for a long run. MTK 07-01-2006, 10:45 AM Griffin is the key to our run D. When he was out of the lineup the run D really suffered. Personally, I think Salisbury is the personification of Uncle Rico. - "Here sport, try and break this. Can't can you?" Big C 07-02-2006, 10:13 PM seattle at #2 lol. get them in a half decent division and see how good they are djnemo65 07-02-2006, 11:22 PM Hell, Caroline is one player (Smith) away from turning it a perennial stinker for the season. I don't think its possible to do anything perenially for one season |
