A Change of Tune for ESPNLBrown43 06-30-2006, 08:38 PM the way espn has it, the cowboys will be coming to fed-ex for wildcard weekend. How great would that be? Warpath 06-30-2006, 09:58 PM I think thats funny that they have Dallas ahead of the Giants. I guess we all will find out very soon. In my book its the Giants over Dallas. Skins will be the NFCs darlings this season. Ill give them the #1 or 2 spot and also collect a first round bye. Damn Im ready! MTK 06-30-2006, 10:15 PM After breaking down the teams and ranking the Skins so high, they would have looked like complete idiots if they turned around and said they would finish behind Dallas and NY. Thought it is odd they have the Giants ranked 8th overall and Dallas 14th overall, yet they still go with Dallas. steveo395 06-30-2006, 10:36 PM where is this ultimate depth chart crap everyones talkin about MTK 06-30-2006, 10:46 PM http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/story?id=2502031 LBrown43 06-30-2006, 11:00 PM After breaking down the teams and ranking the Skins so high, they would have looked like complete idiots if they turned around and said they would finish behind Dallas and NY. Can you say contradiction? I think the Giants have a much better team than many pundits think. On the other hand, Dallas I think is a much worse team than many pundits think. The season will tell. I still like the Redskins going in a bit of an underdog though. No respect for a team that is very good, breeds hunger to prove tha you deserve to be noticed. GTripp0012 07-01-2006, 12:24 AM they have them as the second wild card team. That means the g-string divas are out of the picture.Same here, and I think Atlanta or TB gets a wild card, no big surprises predictions in the NFC for me...unless you count Arizona taking the west. BigSKINBauer 07-01-2006, 03:27 AM Chargers run defense really that good? LIGHTS OUT MERRIMAN. BigSKINBauer 07-01-2006, 03:52 AM What about our run defense. Will that problem be fixed? We gave up a whole yard more in 2005 than we did in 04, from 3.1 to 4.1. 3.1 was by far the best in 04 with teams getting only as close as 3.6 ypp where as in 05 4.1 ranked us a disgusting 22. Our D was so good in 04 against the run, this year the best was 3.4. What happened? Was it pierce? Can it be fixed? Will carter help? I want that fixed. It was a problem for us last year. Total against the run went from 2 to 13. We are ranked 14th by ESPN and that is holding us back and it will hold us back against tiki and others. Luckily i don't think we play that many good running backs. Ofcourse that doesn't matter because we are going against GOD at the near end of the season. Clark also got pushed out of the way on some runs as well. Archuleta shouldn't let that happen, but we will have a rookie at ROLB this year, so whether that gap in run D gets fixed is still a question... mcintosh is good at making negative yardage plays though. |
