Just a rumor as we thought. No real substance to it.

I guess it was just a rumor, like Freddy Mitchell last year.

Definitely all rumor. Signing an old head like Seau breaks the mold of the type of moves that Gibbs and Williams have been leaning towards over the past few years. Just doesn't fit.

Junior Seau wanted a clause in his contract that he gets 35 percent of the pie. He was upset that Marcus Washington got a bigger slice of pie than him, so he refused to sign.

i think that one was actually started by that D-bag himself, just like the nickname Fred-Ex. He dropped the Skins name in an interview or something after the iggles cut him, probably b/c he thought it would bump up his vaule.

Now he bags grocceries at the local Safeway.

This morning on Cold Pizza, Al Trotter of the San Diego Tribune said the deal with the Skins fell through and now Seau is talking with the Bengals.

If he can't get something done by this week, he'll most likely retire.
