of my fantasy football team. My league drafted early this year, and i think i got a pretty good roster. I started out with the fifth overall selection, and by the time my pick came, Alexander, Johnson, Tomlinson, and Manning were off the boards, so i selected a hometown favorite, none other than my main man Portis.

I took a risk on Palmer and McNabb, both were injured last year, but the reason i took both was because I think Palmer will bounce back and McNabb always seems to do well with shitty talent around him.

mooby, I think only memebers of your league can view roster information. How about listing your draft picks in order starting with CP?

If you got Palmer, you'll never need McNabb, just hope you didnt reach. Sounds like you did a bang up job.

Is Palmer going to play this year? I thought he still needed a year to recover from the ACL tear in the playoffs.

Palmer wants to be ready by the first game, but that might be pushing it. Personally, I would hate to draft so early (unless, maybe, it's a keeper league) because people get injured in the preseason all the time. We hold our money league draft the Sunday before the season starts. Drafting after the preseason also gives you a chance to get a look at potential sleeper picks.

Alright, here's my picks. There are only 6 teams in my league, and i was the fifth to sign up, and we were drafting according to when you signed up. About Davis, i had no idea why i selected him, i was looking at other things and my pick came up, and i spaced or something, and it selected him when time ran out:
Round 1, 5th overall, Clinton Portis, RB
Round 2, 8th overall, Carson Palmer, QB
Round 3, 17th overall, Anquan Boldin, WR
Round 4, 20th overall, Torry Holt, WR
Round 5, 29th overall, Warrick Dunn, RB
Round 6, 32nd overall, Domanick Davis, RB
Round 7, 41st overall, Donovan McNabb, QB
Round 8, 44th overall, Tampa Bay Defense
Round 9, 53rd overall, Neil Rackers, K
Round 10, 56th overall, Alge Crumpler, TE
Round 11, 65th overall, Javon Walker, WR
Round 12, 68th overall, Chris Cooley, TE
Round 13, 77th overall, Steve McNair, QB
Round 14, 80th overall, Thomas Jones, RB
Round 15, 89th overall, Baltimore Defense
Round 16, 92nd overall, Keyshawn Johnson, WR
Round 17, 101st overall, David Akers, K
Round 18, 104st overall, Priest Holmes, RB
Some of the guys i took in the later rounds, like Holmes, was because in the earlier rounds i selected guys that had a lot of the same bye weeks. I'm trying to trade Domanic Davis, but nobody wants him. I got depth for every position though. My league runs a 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 W/T, 1 W/R, 1 K, and 1 D every week.
BTW, I just found out Domanick Davis is on the can't cut list. WTF is up with that?

Dominick Davis can be a very effective RB IF he can stay healthy long enough. He's like the new Fred Taylor of fantasy leagues: just when your through gambling on him he turns around puts up good numbers. I wouldn't trade him if I were you unless someone offered you an incredible deal.
You seem to be a little thin at WR. Maybe a search of the free agents board will turn up a sleeper.
6 team league?
Damn it's hard to mess up in a league that small.
Your team looks rock solid to me.

Cooley is gonna be a steal I think.
Walker too possibly.
I have concerns about Jones. Benson is gonna take that job.
Why the heck did you take Rackers so early? In a six team league a kicker is my last pick unless I dont HAVE to take one. In that case I don't take one and pick a different one each week.
