We should show this thread to the eagles fans over at concretefield.com as proof that not all redskins fans are homeristic.

Did anyone else see the LaVar piece on NFL Total Access the other night?

He really does look in alot better shape, looks like he's lost a good 10-15 lbs. He doesn't have that gut that he had last year.

yea i saw it he does look in better shape than last year

New poster here.

Why no faith? In the come back of Mr. Gibbs the Redskins have only improved in play, character, discipline, and respect. Why do I read these boards and see such doubt, worry?

After a few weeks of reading these threads, I got a few opinions. Nothing personal, just a rookies gut feeling.

1. Ramsey sucked. Let's move on.
2. Brunell is a football player. He gets the job done.
3. Lavar IS a big loss.
4. But I'm curious about McIntosh.
5. Holdham is improvin...
6. Our defense is not in RUIN.
7. Saunders + Gibbs....Pure Genius
9. Williams + Bugel.....Just cute.
10. Portis WILL run for over 2000....
11. Our line will be one of the best.
12 . I am bias, but not ridiculous
13. Our offense will be simply spectaculous.

Jr. Seau wouldn't have been a bad thing. Anyone remeber Monte?

It's about leadership and our backers need it.

One other thing...Brandon Ore is simply gonna kick some ass for the Hokies this year.

I really don't see anyone here talking any doubt. I think at least 99.9% of us are thinking the team is poised for a Super Bowl run this year.

He does look lighter, but in a few of the drills he looked like he was favoring that bad knee. Makes me wonder how much his knee can take.

I was just glancing at this and thought you wrote "homoerotic".

Not that I'm defensive.

Well, most people judge the skins based on the hoggettes. Personally, i think the hoggettes need to have some tough cohones to dress like that, but it's all good. But a lot of other NFC East fans think the whole fan base is gay because of that.

I'd say that while Lavar isn't a big loss for us, he is a big gain for New York.

I see it the same way. What worries me (and most QBs) about Lavar is that he may give up big plays, but he may also end your career on any one play. That tends to keep guys from keeping thier heads in the game.

With the two DEs the Giants have, Lavar will be a big pass rush threat. That worries me with Brunnel.

Anyone who has doubts about Joe Gibbs at this point need their head examined. My worry was that the game may have past him by after the first season in his comeback but he has two of the best minds in the business in Williams and Saunders and he's letting them do what they do better than most of ther peers. He's doing whatever it takes to return the Skin's to those glory years and he's not letting his ego get in way. He's a GREAT manager of men, he wins at everything he does and he will get us back to that level once again. It's just a matter of time IMO.
