I was thinking, who let their team down the most, Ricky Williams or Big Ben? Ricky walked out on his team when he retired, but the team he left behind was average at best, and Wandstat was going to run the legs off of Ricky that year. And no I am not going to say that Ricky let the Dolphins down twice with his current situation. The Dolphins have a more than adequate RB in Ronnie Brown. So, this time the Dolphins are not hanging out to dry...
Big Ben, however, through his actions let down the Super Bowl Champs. Pittsburgh had/had a very good shot to repeat but everyone knows that the Steelers O is not as good when Ben isn't taking the snaps. Now, for the time being, there season probably will start out with Charlie Batch directing the O.
If the Steelers didn't just come off of a Super Bowl victory then I wouldn't think of it as Ben letting down his team and team mates. He is the starting QB of a very good ball club things like this show that he is not ready to be a leader.
Thoughts...

its got to be ricky williams because every bone head thing he has done has been by his choice. sure, it was ben rothlesbergers choice to ride a motorcycle but he didnt choose to get into an accident

To make things clear I really have no position on this, and I kinda think that Ricky is also. I was just saying when do players realize that they are part of something bigger? Like I mean when is Ben or any player going to say "Hey I am the starting (insert position) for the (insert team) and I need to put them before my personal enjoyment."

Ricky Williams.. If you are already in the substance abuse policy don't do anything but eat crackers and drink water. Supplements contain so many chemicals you can't help but come up dirty.
Ben should be ok to play this season, Ricky is up in Canada.
Ricky by a mile. He's let his team down twice now.
Ricky made a conscious decision, with "known" negative results, highly probable. Those probabilities came true.
Ben made a conscious (albeit stupid) decision with "known" negative results, with an extremely low probability. Those probabilities came true.
RICKY=Worse
Moral????????? Stupid shit always comes back to bite you in the ass!

Big ben did something that should be illegal
Ricky did something that should be legal
Ricky let down his team so I guess he is the bigger let down. Ricky, however, doesn't like football and only plays fo the money. You have to think he let himself down less.

Ricky by a long shot. Ben got into a wreck and the only reason we wonder about him is because he was not wearing a helmet. If he had a wreck and was in just as bad shape AND he was wearing a helmet, we would not be having this TYPE of conversation. We would all be more worried about Ben. If he got hit in a car, we would not be having this conversation. Bad things happen to people, but they don't choose it. Ricky Chose His Stuff! Stupid. I don't call Ben Stupid, just a little reckless. Heck, when I was 17 I rode a moped 25 miles an hour without a helmet, and a car could have run over me and I would not have considered myself reckless.

Both .... because Ben was warn last year about ridding in a motocycle because he's the Masterchief of that offense he needed to be the example and he specially was warn about ridding without a helment and he was a smartass about it.
He tought he could get hurt he was dumb and put his hole season and his team season in jeoperdy just like ricky did when he retire.
Both are dumb selfish morrons.
