There is no comparison, Ricky is repeat offender. This is Ben's first srew up, I'm willing to bet he wears a helmet for now on.
A bigger let down!?!?Drago 06-13-2006, 11:53 AM There is no comparison, Ricky is repeat offender. This is Ben's first srew up, I'm willing to bet he wears a helmet for now on. TheMasterScratch 06-13-2006, 02:24 PM I think both men made foolish mistakes that were detrimental to both their team and themselves. After some of Ricky's antics when he first entered the league, I think you will find some people that weren't surprised at all about what he did. But I think Ben is the bigger let down for the reason being so many people were telling him about the dangers of riding helmetless, but he went against the advice and continued in his ways. Terry Bradshaw told Roethlisberger last year to stop riding the motorcycle. There's too much danger involved, see what happened to Kellen Winslow II last year. Ben seems to be a smart young man, and you would think he would take the precautions and keep himself safe with a helmet, especially given how valuable he is to his team. Unfortunately he didnt do that, and it cost him. gibbs4life 06-13-2006, 03:21 PM i would have to say both as well. in bens case i would wear a helmet if it wasn,t a law. in rickys case well i guess he rather smoke it up than play football not once but twice. so both are at fault here and their organizations are paying the price for it as well as their teammates. jbcjr14 06-13-2006, 03:49 PM There is no comparison, Ricky is repeat offender. Hog1 06-13-2006, 04:32 PM He'll be getting a new contract with a.............few clauses added Daseal 06-13-2006, 07:11 PM Ricky is gone this year because he bought something at GNC that had slight traces of a banned substance. While he's made his mistakes, let's not just say he was on drugs and that's not why he was playing this year. That Guy 06-13-2006, 08:19 PM ricky. ben is one bad mistake, ricky is on number 20 or 30 now. Pocket$ $traight 06-14-2006, 01:25 AM Both .... because Ben was warn last year about ridding in a motocycle because he's the Masterchief of that offense he needed to be the example and he specially was warn about ridding without a helment and he was a smartass about it. He tought he could get hurt he was dumb and put his hole season and his team season in jeoperdy just like ricky did when he retire. Both are dumb selfish morrons. Dumb selfish morons? Is this a Parcells/TO thread? SmootSmack 06-14-2006, 01:31 AM Being that I think more is expected of Roethlisberger, I think I'd probably go with Big Ben. It's hard to let someone down really when not much is expected of you in the first place. And I think that the Dolphins were just living day by day with Ricky, trying to figure out if they should even try trading him, until he got suspended. BR on the other hand was the man in Pittsburgh.
