I believe we are ready to win a SB but it all comes down to QB, and IMO that's a big question mark, even if Brunell steps up in the new offense can he stay healthy enough through the entire season? If not we have a problem Campbell I don't believe can win a SB at least not yet, which leaves us with a career backup in Collins who we really don't no how he will respond as a starter?

Wouldn't matter who played. That could keep this team from achieving great things. However there is no more reason for Redskin fans to worry about Brunell's health than any of the other 31 teams have to worry about their QBs health. Even with the recent broken finger, it's a non issue. Sure he might get injured and miss game time, but theres no reason to assume he will.

nice post but i would have to respectfully disagree with your one dimensional remark.

the skins have too many weapons on offense to become one dimensional. between moss, EL, Lloyd, cooley and portis defenses can't just stack the box to prevent the run. i think saunders would call just as many pass plays with campbell under center as he would with brunell, plus campbell would also be a threat to run as brunell was from time to time last year.

just my thoughts on the situation.

i would like to see this guys comments on gibbs from last year. yuo can bet he wasnt as impressed with his leadership abilities last year at this time and he was talking shit like everybody else saying gibbs no longer has what it takes. that type of shit gets on my nerves.

Actually, I bet he wasn't one of those guys. Joyner is all stats. He is pretty objective when comes to his analysis. He may not have given us glowing reviews but, if he dissed us, he would have backed it up with stats. Generally, he doesn't trash teams but rather says things like "if they want to improve they need increase their run/pass ratio" and stuff like that.

just my thoughts on the situation. You are right to an extent. But the part I bolded, while is not necessarily something I disagree with, would be a problem. Brunell has impressively low INT totals, and Campbell would be a rookie. So if the playcalling didn't change, there would be a lot more game changing is. If the playcalling does change, you lose offensive efficency. It would create a bad situation

Just my two cents.

Who among us really thinks that Gibbs and Saunders have not given consideration to the possibility that Brunell may not start every game this year? Does anyone really believe they have NOT carefully planned fior that eventuality? These guys are MANIACS. They have TOTALLY mapped every scenario in which Brunell may be sidelined, and that of his replacement. Brunell goes down=dead in the water..........................Hardly

Brunnell deserves more credit than he gets. When was the last time a QB in DC had the numbers he did last season? Watch the highlights. He's really accurate and can throw a 40-50 yd bomb to Moss twice within a few mins...
Go back and watch film from last season. Brunnell is not the problem.
