Overall, Brunell's stats are a little better and I mean a little. Same completion % and INTs. McNair has more rushing TD's and rushing yards (and Super Bowl appearances).
Good point there! I have some stats here:
.....................................Steve McNair......vs...........Mark Brunell
Career Passing Yards.............27,141.......................... ..30,037
Career TD's............................156............... ..................174
Career Interceptions................103.................. ...............102
Career Rating.........................83.3............... .................84.1
Completion Percentage............59.5........................ ........59.4
Career Rushing Yards..............3,439.......................... ....2,399
Career Avg. per Rush................5.6........................... ......4.8
IMPORTANT: Essentially, they have both played for the SAME number of years. (Brunell sat on the bench for two years with the Packers, so they both began starting the same year)
Their stats are very similar, and if you really look at it Mark Brunell looks to be the better overall quarterback (the numbers kind of put Mark Brunell's career into perspective and show how TALENTED a quarterback we actually have)
